Scope: This Privacy Policy applies to TensorSpeed as a B2B service used by schools, academies, tutoring centers, corporate training departments and other educational organizations (“Customers”).
It explains how we handle personal data when providing the Service to your organization.
1. Who We Are

- Student information (name, username, email, class/group assignments)
- Assignment results, progress, exercise answers, completion status
- Any custom content or notes your organization uploads
Data we collect automatically:
- Log data (IP address, browser type, access times)
- Usage data (which lessons viewed, time spent, device type)
- Cookies & similar technologies (session management, analytics)
3. How We Use Personal Data
We use data only to:
- Provide, maintain and improve the TensorSpeed platform
- Authenticate users and manage access rights
- Track student progress and generate reports for your organization
- Send service-related communications (e.g. new features, security alerts)
- Prevent abuse, fraud and security incidents
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell personal data or use it for marketing to students/teachers.
4. Data Sharing
We share personal data only in these limited cases:
- With subprocessors (hosting, analytics, email delivery) under strict DPA agreements
- To comply with law, court order, or valid government request
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (with notice where required)
We do not share student personal data with third-party advertisers or for behavioral advertising.
5. International Data Transfers
TensorSpeed is hosted in the United States. If your organization or users are located outside the US, personal data may be transferred to and processed in the US.
We use appropriate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent) when required by applicable law (e.g. GDPR, CCPA).
6. Data Retention
- Active account data is kept while your subscription is active
- After termination: data is retained for 90 days (backup & recovery), then deleted unless required by law
- You can request earlier deletion (subject to legal retention obligations)
7. Your Rights & Choices
As the data controller, your organization can:
- Access, correct, or delete personal data of your users
- Export student/teacher data
- Request restriction of processing
- Object to certain processing

8. Security
We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect personal data (encryption in transit & at rest, access controls, regular security audits).
However, no system is 100% secure. We will notify you promptly of any data breach that may affect your users.
9. Children’s Privacy
TensorSpeed is not directed to children under 13 (or 16 in some jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under these ages.
Educational organizations using the Service are responsible for obtaining appropriate parental/guardian consent where required by law (e.g., COPPA, GDPR).
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice at least 30 days in advance.
