Analytics

We count visits so we can tell whether anyone is finding the site. It runs on our own servers — no Google Analytics, no third-party script, nothing loaded from another domain.

For each page view we record:

• the page path and a coarse page type (for example home or legal);
• the hostname of the site that linked you here, if any — never the full URL;
• utm_* tags, when a link carries them;
• a screen-size bucket (small / medium / large) and the country your request came from.

We set no cookies and store nothing in your browser. To count repeat visits within a day without identifying anyone, our server derives a one-way hash from your IP address and browser user-agent combined with a secret that changes every day. Your IP address and user-agent are never written to storage, and because the secret rotates, a hash from one day cannot be matched to the same visitor on any other day. There is no way for us — or anyone with our data — to follow a person across days or across sites.

When you contact us

If you email us, we receive your name, email address and whatever you choose to include. We use it only to reply, to discuss possible work with you, and to keep a record of that conversation. Our mailbox is hosted by our email provider, Namecheap Private Email. We don't add you to a mailing list, and we don't send marketing email.

We keep correspondence for as long as it is useful for an ongoing conversation or engagement, and delete it on request unless we need to keep it for legal or accounting reasons.

Client engagements

Data you share with us as part of a research or solutions engagement — including any datasets — is handled under the written agreement for that work, which sets out how it is stored, used, protected and returned or deleted. Please don't send such data before that agreement is in place.

How long we keep things

Raw analytics events are deleted after 400 days. Daily totals contain no personal data and are kept indefinitely.

Your rights and contact

Because the analytics data contains nothing that identifies you, we cannot look up "your" analytics record — there isn't one. For your correspondence with us, email admin@tensorspeed.com and we will access, correct or delete it.
